Carry Out - New Albany, IN (CCX)

About the role

We are food service industry leaders and believe that hard work can also be fun. This position is vital to the overall operational success of this food service location, handling customer service and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone in a timely manner
• Correctly input all orders into the POS system
• ID anyone that appears under the age of 40 that is purchasing alcohol
• Handle all payment transactions in a manner that protects the interest of both the guest and the restaurant
• Safely and accurately monitor the cash register
• Package all carryout orders in bags and correctly complete each order
• Ensure quick and accurate delivery of order to curbside guests' vehicle
• Accurately quote specific times in which carryout guests may pick up their food
• Handle all third party and online ordering orders
• Perform all side work as required
• Maintain Tumbleweed uniform standards
• Observe needs throughout dining experience to ensure guests receive high quality service
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies
• Assist in the dining room by setting/clearing tables and serving beverages
• Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
• The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
• Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range
