About the Role

The Carside Server delivers food and beverages to guests, ensuring a courteous and timely experience while adhering to Applebee’s service standards. This role supports a positive work environment aligned with company values and contributes to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and interact with every guest to create a friendly, upbeat environment.
• Familiarize guests with the menu and provide appropriate suggestions when requested.
• Take guest orders in person or via phone and input them accurately into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in their vehicle or the dining room.
• Pre-bus tables, restock, and reset the working area to maintain cleanliness and comfort.
• Sweep and complete daily cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collect payment from customers promptly using QR codes or POS.
• Anticipate guests' needs to facilitate an enjoyable experience.
• Verify the accuracy, packaging, and labeling of all carside to-go orders.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to exceed guest expectations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Strong teamwork attitude and a willingness to take initiative.
• Effective verbal communication with guests in person or over the phone.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Mobility for a minimum of 4 hours, with the ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Legal age to serve alcohol.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Work Environment

Work is primarily performed in a restaurant setting. On occasion, travel to other locations may be required, either alone or with a co-worker.
