About the Role

The Carside Server delivers food and beverages to guests, ensuring a courteous and timely experience while adhering to Applebee’s service standards. This role supports a positive work environment aligned with TSFR’s core values and service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and interact with every guest to create a friendly, upbeat environment
• Familiarize guests with the menu and provide appropriate suggestions when requested
• Take guest orders in person or via phone and input them accurately into the POS system
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in their vehicle or in the dining room
• Pre-bus tables, restock, and reset working areas to maintain cleanliness and comfort
• Sweep and maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Collect payment from customers promptly using QR codes or POS
• Complete daily cleaning tasks
• Anticipate guests' needs to enhance their experience
• Verify accuracy and proper packaging/labels for all carside to-go orders

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to exceed guest expectations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork orientation
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests verbally (in person or over the phone)
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 pounds
• Legal age to serve alcohol

• Ability to read and interpret documents (e.g., contracts, operating instructions, procedure manuals)
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Effective verbal communication with customers and employees
• Problem-solving skills for practical situations with limited standardization
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Physical and Mental Demands

• Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, walking, and use of hands to handle objects or operate equipment
• Occasional lifting and moving of objects up to 30 pounds
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to work in a team environment and handle a fast-paced setting
• Flexibility and willingness to accept change
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Work Environment

Work is primarily performed in a restaurant setting. Occasional travel to other locations may be required, either alone or with a co-worker.
