This role will focus on prospecting, cold calling and qualifying new carrier accounts for Ryan Transportation within the United States and Canada. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an outgoing, ambitious and dynamic personality. What You’ll Do Solicit prospective carriers to join our carrier networkDevelop long-term relationships with shippers and carriersLearn the trucking industry by growing under-performing client accounts, upselling opportunities and maximizing profitabilityBuild and manage an existing carrier network to ensure we meet the needs of shipping customersContinually improve upon customer service skills, transit times and transportation costsCoordinate logistics activity, including scheduling arrival dates and delivery appointmentsTrack and trace orders for each load in our system and complete all load-related paperworkActively participate in transportation bids for current and prospective clientsOther duties as assigned What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field preferredDemonstrated success in a proactive sales environmentStrong relationship building and negotiation skillsEffective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and data entryDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines What Will Put You Ahead Strong attention to detail with analytical and technical skillsExcellent customer service and problem-solving skillsHighly organized with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to cross-sell services across all brandsAbility to work both independently and in a team environment Apply Today!
