Carrier Relationship Manager
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and execute annual business plans with each carrier relationship, including wholesaler activity goals, marketing strategies, relationship-building activities, and sales targets.
- Partner closely with the carrier’s Relationship Manager, Marketing Team, and Sales Managers to ensure strong advocacy for Stifel throughout their organization.
- Monitor and ensure carrier compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the central point of contact between carriers and Stifel, coordinating communication and partnerships across teams.
- Collaborate with carriers to resolve issues effectively and in a timely manner.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing business plans, preferably within insurance, annuities, or financial services.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with external carrier representatives and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of marketing strategies, sales processes, and wholesaler engagement.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to insurance and annuity products, with the ability to monitor and ensure carrier compliance.
- Proven ability to serve as a central communication hub, coordinating cross-functional efforts and maintaining aligned messaging across teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve carrier or operational issues accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and contribute to special projects as needed.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
