What You Get To Do

• Perform all functions of general carpentry work for in-park builds, repairs, installations, providing a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Select proper materials for jobs.
• Dependable performance in terms of attendance, acceptance of assignments, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirements.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist carpentry supervisor leading carpentry team.

What It Takes To Succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of onsite experience in the carpentry trade.
• Experience with cabinet building and framing, fabrications of solid surface and laminate countertops, roof repairs, drywall installation, concrete work, and more.
• Ability to work with blueprints or in-depth sketches.
• Ability to operate and maintain power and hand tools and other equipment in good safe condition.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess basic mathematical skills.
• Work at heights up to 100ft, work on scaffolding up to 24 ft, and ability to climb and work off of ladders.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, loud noises/vibrations and cold/heat temperature extremes.
• Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals.
• Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, holidays and duty coverage.
