About the role

Primoris Energy Services is seeking skilled Carpenters to perform a variety of construction, repair, and maintenance tasks related to structural components in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools, conforming to blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.
• Work with other craft workers, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure proper installation of systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and materials required.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in an industrial or commercial construction environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices in a construction setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
