About the role
As a Carpenter / Measure Technician, you will be responsible for accurately measuring customers’ homes for installations and completing service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Measure for products at customer homes
- Repair windows, siding, and sunrooms
- Order and track repair/installation services
- Assist with management reporting and communication as requested
- Interact with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs
- Safely perform all aspects of the job in compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred; construction trade school a plus
- 3 to 5 years in home improvement/construction involving carpentry, roofing, and window installation
- Experience using a brake and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong math skills, including proficiency with a tape measure and angles
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
