Carpenter (Measure Technician)

About the role

As a Carpenter / Measure Technician, you will be responsible for accurately measuring customers’ homes for installations and completing service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Measure for products at customer homes
  • Repair windows, siding, and sunrooms
  • Order and track repair/installation services
  • Assist with management reporting and communication as requested
  • Interact with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs
  • Safely perform all aspects of the job in compliance with federal, state, and local laws

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred; construction trade school a plus
  • 3 to 5 years in home improvement/construction involving carpentry, roofing, and window installation
  • Experience using a brake and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong math skills, including proficiency with a tape measure and angles
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
