Carpenter (Measure Technician)

About the role

As a Carpenter / Measure Technician, you will be responsible for accurately measuring customers’ homes for installations and completing service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Measures for products at customer homes
• Repairs windows, siding, and sunrooms
• Orders and tracks repair / installation services
• Assists Management with reporting and communication, as requested
• Interacts with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs
• Safely performs all aspects of the job in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred; construction trade school a plus
• 3 to 5 years in home improvement / construction involving carpentry, roofing, and window installation
• Experience in the use of a brake and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Math skills including using a tape measure and angles
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
