Carpenter Helpers - Port Arthur, TX

Position Responsibilities

• Construct, fabricate, install and dismantle form work of fixtures, metal, wood, and other accessories.
• Able to read and interpret instructions and document, plan, and perform work activities independently with guidance from a classified journeyman.

Minimum Qualifications

• Constant standing, walking, reaching, crawling, balancing, and grasping.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, climbing, stooping/crouching, and kneeling.
• All aspects of vision are required – acuity, depth perception, and field of vision.
• Ability to talk and hear is very important for communication with supervisor and co-workers on safety and operational matters.

Preferred Experience

• Preference given to candidates with 6 months to 4 years of Carpenter Helper experience at meets or exceeds performance expectations.
