Carpenter/ Foreman (Non-Union)

This permanent, non-union role offers a path to advance into a Superintendent position while working on ground retail projects. Travel is required, with the opportunity to travel home every weekend.

We are a dynamic construction team seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter/Foreman to lead on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and meet quality standards.
• Lead and motivate a team of construction workers, providing guidance and direction.
• Apply knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment to execute carpentry tasks.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Solve problems quickly and effectively under pressure.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a foreman, carpenter, or similar leadership role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience as a skilled carpenter with expertise in construction methods, tools, and equipment.
• Experience in retail construction projects is a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in carpentry or a relevant field is a plus.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
