Job Description
Job duties may include:
- Overall responsibility for crew safety, performance, productivity and work quality for assigned projects
- Collaborate with superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution and close out
- Use look-ahead schedules, manpower forecasts and project specifications to provide optimum scheduling of material, manpower and crew mix
- Review drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Systematically direct and assign crew field activities to achieve maximize productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality, performance and workplace safety
- Add everything in green to drywall finisher foreman posting
- Create and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co-workers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
- Convey a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of branch and corporation
- Use available technology to perform job tasks efficiently
- Able to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Identify and resolve job site issues proactively to avoid delays or rework
- Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and documentation
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members, including apprentices and journeymen
Requirements
- Previous experience in interior commercial systems and exterior metal stud framing and sheathing installations is required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Carpenter Foreman
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures
- Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
- Must have reliable transportation
Preferred Requirements
- OSHA 30
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town projects is desirable
- Experience with exterior cladding project oversight is desirable
- Experience with interior acoustical and specialty ceiling systems is desirable
- Proficiency in Procore software is desirable
