Responsibilities

• Drywall hanging, patching, finishing, and plaster repair
• Interior and exterior painting
• Finish carpentry (doors, baseboard/crown molding, casing, etc.)
• Installation of flooring: tile, carpet, laminate, LVP/LVT, vinyl
• Window removal and installation
• Basic service-level MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
• Selective demolition required to complete reconstruction
• Maintain clean, professional jobsites in occupied homes and businesses
• Support project coordination, quality control, and subcontractor management
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work meets all codes and standards
• Assist with project scheduling, punch lists, and material logistics
• Occasionally support larger projects with oversight and coordination

Requirements

• 4+ years of carpentry experience (restoration/reconstruction preferred)
• Strong construction skills in areas such as painting, flooring, installing cabinets, roofing, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Great communication and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skillset
• Works well independently and within a team environment
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must have your own basic hand tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance restoration/rebuild background
• Familiarity with scopes, sketches, or Xactimate-style estimates
• Experience in occupied residential and commercial settings
• Spanish/English bilingual is a plus

Pay

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Involves performing physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling equipment
• Requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently
