Carpenter
Operations
The Carpenter is expected to participate in a variety of company functions and follow and adhere to procedures, practices, and policies of the department. They must read drawings and sketches to understand requirements, take measurements, and calculate the size and amount of material needed. The Carpenter is responsible for cutting, shaping, smoothing, and fitting lumber and other materials according to measurements. They build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings based on contract drawings.
- Cut and assemble cabinets, shelves, hardware, base, casing, and other items and install them where designated.
- Maintain a clean jobsite and lead composite cleanup crews from subcontractors.
- Comply with local building codes and health and safety regulations.
- Perform punch list items that meet a level of acceptance by clients.
- Build scaffold and other construction structures.
- Provide excellent customer service.

Safety & Quality
The Carpenter is expected to participate in safety meetings, set the example for the company's safety compliance and procedures, and assist in maintaining OSHA compliance on the jobsite. They should also recognize safety violations and correct them immediately.
- Participate in safety meetings.
- Participate in the STF as needed.
- Aid in the Quality Assurance / Quality Control Plan to ensure project success.
- Avoid and report safety violations immediately.
