About the role

Makowsky Ringel Greenberg is seeking a carpenter with multi-family (apartment) experience to join our corporate maintenance team. The corporate roving carpenter assists with various tasks at MRG-managed apartment communities and commercial locations.

Responsibilities

• Assists with various tasks at MRG-managed apartment communities and commercial locations
• Does not require overnight travel or travel outside the greater Memphis metropolitan area (includes DeSoto and Tunica counties in northwest Mississippi and Crittenden county in Arkansas)

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Knowledge of local codes (Tennessee: Memphis, Collierville, Shelby county. Mississippi: Southaven, Hernando, DeSoto county, Robinsonville, Tunica county. Arkansas: Marion, West Memphis, Crittenden county.)
• Must have the tools necessary to perform the job's duties
• Must have reliable transportation suitable for maintenance and repair work (truck or van required)
• Must have a valid driving license and proof of current automobile insurance
• Must pass a criminal background check, credit check, and pre-employment drug screening
