About the role

Join our team as a full-time Carpenter at our vibrant senior living community! We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic carpenter to transform living spaces and enhance the overall aesthetic of our community. Your work will directly impact the comfort and happiness of our residents, making their home a place of warmth and joy.

Responsibilities

• Order materials as needed in an efficient and effective manner.
• Perform repairs on various types of structures.
• Perform general carpentry.
• Perform demolition work and prepare work area for new construction.
• Make recommendations for appropriate carpentry material usage, including code requirements for a healthcare facility.
• Assume responsibility for putting away stock deliveries.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of carpentry and repair experience.
• Knowledge in finish carpentry, hanging cabinets, installing crown molding, installing laminate countertops, and other similar tasks.
• Analytical ability to identify and resolve installation and repair problems.
• Proof of a valid Michigan driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance is required.
• Reliable means of transportation.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (full-time, 40 hours per week) with some flexibility in scheduling available.
