Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to perform a variety of commercial and residential construction, remodeling, repair, and finish-carpentry projects. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry for commercial and residential projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, plans, and measurements.
• Frame walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, and other structural components.
• Install doors, windows, trim, molding, cabinets, flooring, and other finish materials.
• Complete remodeling, renovations, repairs, and maintenance work.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and properly.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, homeowners, and other trades.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and building codes.

Requirements

• Previous carpentry experience in commercial and/or residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction methods.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials.
• Ability to read plans and follow project specifications.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to safely lift materials and perform physical construction work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with framing and finish carpentry.
• Remodeling and renovation experience.
• Cabinet, trim, door, and window installation.
• Basic knowledge of construction codes and safety practices.
• Experience working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

Work Environment

This position involves working on a variety of commercial and residential job sites, both indoors and outdoors. The Carpenter may work in varying weather conditions and must be comfortable standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and using construction tools throughout the workday.

Pay

$25.00 per hour

Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm
