Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation's premier provider of high quality architectural precast components for decades. We provide products from architectural panels and custom architectural fabrication to site furnishings and design/build consultation. The carpenter position works with the Carpenter Foreman in performing all activities related to fabrication and setup of forms for all precast concrete products fabricated in the plant, as well as performing miscellaneous carpentry work as directed by management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Utilizes approved piece tickets to construct forms for specific precast concrete panels in conformance with the architectural specifications and applicable PCI requirementsMeets regularly with the Carpenter Foreman to discuss anticipated production sequences and potential form construction problems, and to provide input on improvement of work processes and work flowProvides information to the Carpenter Foreman on the inventory status of all form-related material so that supplies and materials can be ordered in a timely fashion to ensure performance of scheduled workProperly maintains tools and utilizes appropriate safety guardsManages carpentry workload for selfComes to work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policyFunctions as a team playerMaintains plant safety in accordance with Company Safety Manual and under the direction of Plant Safety Coordinator Requirements Education and Experience (Wage will be based on experience)High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of recent general carpentry experienceMinimum of 2 years working with finish carpentry products such as cabinetry a other forms of woodworkingAbility to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures/specificationsAbility to read and understand construction drawings and piece tickets Benefits FULLTIME YEAR-ROUND WORKMedical, Dental & Vision Benefit's after 60 DaysCompetitive Compensation & Profit SharingAvailable Over Time401K with MatchInternal promotional opportunitiesCompany Sustainability - Since 1940 Enterprise Properties, Inc. and its subsidiaries are an equal opportunity employer that complies with EEOC rules and regulations.
