About the role
One-month contract position located in Southfield, Michigan. Day shift with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Plans, selects, lays out, and cuts materials for shop carpentry to construct, remodel, alter, and repair offices, furniture, stairways, factory partitions, benches, storage bins, shelves, etc.
- Performs general building maintenance works such as repairs to roof, stairs, doors, windows, and floors.
- Works under direct supervision of senior carpenter or carpenter lead.
- May be required to assist with general utility and shipping & receiving duties when needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- All relative experience must be stated on resume in Work History Details.
Skills
- Required: Door Repair, Shop Carpentry, General Building Maintenance, Roof Repair, Stair Repair.
- Additional: Window Repair, Floor Repair, Material Selection, Material Layout, Material Cutting.
A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results as a condition of joining the team.
