Hersheypark, spanning 121 acres, is Pennsylvania’s largest amusement park, featuring over 70 rides—including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides—as well as a zoo and water park. Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of wooden coasters*
- Follow all safety policies and procedures*
- Assist with operations at Hersheypark, Hersheypark Arena, and Hersheypark Stadium as needed
- Complete work in a timely manner*
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Three years of verifiable work experience in the Carpentry trade (trade school training may substitute for one year of experience)
- Must pass a post-offer employment physical exam and pre-employment drug test (position is safety-sensitive)
- Must supply own hand tools
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. safely
- Must be able to climb and work at heights exceeding 100 feet
- Able to operate equipment such as fork trucks, dump trucks, high-reach lifts, air compressors, and related machinery
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must meet scheduled requirements, including evenings and weekends (schedule based on union seniority)
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic knowledge of shop machines and hand tools
- Basic knowledge of trade materials and carpentry procedures
- Ability to pass a written and verbal trade test
- Ability to work without constant direction and supervision
Job Demands
20% of work is completed in the carpentry shop; 80% is on-site throughout the Hershey Entertainment Complex.
