About the role
Description Coffee Blends is seeking a skilled Coffee Roaster to join our team in North Berwick, ME. We are a small batch coffee roaster and seller dedicated to organic and small batch coffee. Our mission is to provide high-quality coffee beans to our customers and corporate clients.
Responsibilities
- Roast coffee beans to meet quality standards
- Monitor and adjust roasting processes as needed
- Ensure all coffee products are packaged and labeled correctly
- Collaborate with sales team to promote and sell coffee products
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Coffee Science, Food Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 2 years of experience in coffee roasting or related field
- Strong understanding of coffee roasting techniques and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Experience with small batch coffee roasting
- Knowledge of organic coffee production and sourcing
- Understanding of coffee grading and cupping
