Caffe Luxxe is seeking a highly motivated Cafe Manager to lead one of their 7 locations in West LA. The ideal candidate should have a passion for coffee and a strong desire to grow a career with a fast-growing, family-oriented company.
Responsibilities
Model Caffe Luxxe values and set the example for excellent service.
Provide specific positive and constructive feedback to the team to ensure growth and adherence to Caffe Luxxe values.
Work through others to maintain a broader perspective and foster the growth of the team.
Exemplify composure in high-pressure situations.
Conduct formal annual reviews for team members, covering strengths and areas needing improvement, and set goals for the coming year.
Participate in the Caffe Luxxe mentor program.
Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and health codes.
Understand and own the profit and loss of the location.
Manage top and bottom-line revenue and costs for maximum efficiency.
Collaborate with the General Manager to set “stretch” and achievable sales targets and work with the team to exceed them.
Identify trends and patterns in Caffe business and make adjustments to improve store performance.
Ensure Caffe is adhering to standard Caffe Luxxe operating procedures.
Develop and manage systems to foster organization and smoothness of operation; collaborate with other managers to ensure consistency across all cafes.
Oversee efficiency of shop logistics and adjust according to any opportunities for improvement.
Manage inventory effectively to avoid stock-outs and overstocks.
Ensure equipment is maintained on a regular service cycle.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a passion for coffee and a strong desire to grow a career with a fast-growing, family-oriented company. No prior experience as a barista is required, as training will be provided.
Qualifications
A degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Experience in a management or leadership role is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of Caffe Luxxe’s core values and mission.

This role contributes to the success of Caffe Luxxe by working on the bar setting the right example for others, and managing Caffe staff to achieve financial, operational, and organizational results for a specific location.
