About the role

Carolina Custom Air and Coastal Air Solutions are now Ace Hardware Home Services! This partnership brings together the expertise of both teams to provide exceptional heating and cooling services to the Charleston region and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of a Lead HVAC Technician
• Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic repairs
• Keep accurate records of work completed
• Deliver a positive, professional experience to every customer
• Support the team with day-to-day tasks and special projects as needed

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of US driving experience
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow directions (verbal and written)
• Positive, professional attitude
• Willingness to learn and take direction from technicians and supervisors
• Basic safety awareness when working with tools and job sites

Skills

• 1–3 years of HVAC maintenance, service, or installation experience
• Strong interest in growing your HVAC career and customer service skills
• Willingness to invest in personal tools

Physical & Work Requirements

• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and on rooftops
• Able to safely use ladders and basic tools
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (with assistance)
• Basic skills such as reading a tape measure
