About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in a growing industry dedicated to our residents and your success. This role offers a work/life balance with a schedule of Monday through Friday and occasional on-call days.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks, as directed and in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare and organize materials and equipment before starting a task.
• Report equipment or items needing immediate repair to the supervisor.
• Respond to occasional building emergencies as needed by the supervisor.
• Report all incidents and accidents to the supervisor.
• Perform daily rounds and checks of various systems as assigned, including related record-keeping.
• Share on-call duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Formal training in a vocational school or trade apprenticeship program preferred but not required.
• A minimum of 1 year of building maintenance work experience.
• Completion of a background check, which may include other prescreening requirements such as a drug screen, physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in different physical positions to complete tasks while performing a variety of physically demanding maintenance-related tasks inside and outside the building.
• Good manual dexterity and the ability to work with tools and equipment.
• May need to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay

$28 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday with occasional on-call days.
