Cargo Security Associate

About the role

The Cargo Security team has the opportunity and responsibility to make decisions in the best interest of TQL when evaluating high-risk scenarios, fraud, and theft prevention. As a team member, you will support the sales floor by providing issue resolution, risk management, and excellent customer service. If you excel at problem-solving and critical thinking, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete TQL fraud-preventative audits
• Manage carrier loading status through risk assessments
• Assess and problem-solve situations brought by Sales, carriers, or external parties
• Document review findings in TQL’s proprietary tracking system
• Communicate internally and externally on investigations
• Assist in reviewing high-risk customers and commodities
• Support all functions of Op Sales, including external compliance, fraud and theft prevention, and cargo risk management

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related professional experience
• At least 1 year of auditing experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Self-motivated and dependable

Pay

Starting at $18.50 per hour, with yearly merit increase evaluations.
