About the Opportunity
The CareIQ Intake Specialist I role is responsible for managing ancillary healthcare referrals through administrative customer service. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that service orders are processed accurately and promptly to meet claimant and customer needs. The role requires handling inbound and outbound communications, data entry, and coordination to support claims management effectively.
Responsibilities
- Deliver telephonic customer service in a high-volume call center environment
- Accurately enter and review data
- Learn and operate proprietary corporate systems
- Enter electronic orders into coordination systems
- Update all case stakeholders regularly
- Transcribe correspondence and reports
- Apply problem-solving skills to avoid appointment scheduling delays
- Meet departmental production and quality standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Experience in detail-oriented customer service
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and proprietary systems
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay
$15.61 - $23.82 per hour. Compensation varies based on location, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. Level placement during the hiring process may affect pay range.
