Caregiver/PCA (Full-Time)(3rd shift) - Deerfield Ridge

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Bathe, dress, groom, toile, position, transfer, move, and manage incontinence care for residents
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities
• Clear tables after meals and assist residents in dining room
• Respond to resident emergency call systems
• Document and report any changes in residents' conditions to Resident Care Coordinator or their designee
• Communicate politely and professionally with residents and family members
• Maintain required resident care documentation according to state regulations and Navion Senior Solutions policies and procedures
• Transport residents when required

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations
• Willingness to obtain 80-hour personal care training certificate, which Navion can provide
• A positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and teamwork skills are essential
• Dedication to and passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills
• Previous experience working with seniors is preferred
• The ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest
• Written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with residents and family members
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
