Responsibilities
- Aid residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Bathe, dress, groom, toile, position, transfer, move, and assist with incontinence care
- Prepare and assist residents with meals and activities
- Respond to resident emergency calls
- Document and report any changes in residents' conditions
- Communicate with residents and family members politely and professionally
- Maintain required resident care documentation according to state regulations and policies
- Transport residents when necessary
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High School diploma or GED (may be required by state regulations)
- Willingness to complete 80-hour personal care training certificate provided by Navion
- Positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, and dedication to serving seniors
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
