Caregiver/PCA (Part-Time)(1st shift) - Deerfield Ridge

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Bathe, dress, groom, assist with toileting, positioning, transfers, and mobility.
• Cook and clear tables for residents during meal times.
• Respond to resident emergency calls.
• Document and report any changes in residents' conditions to the Resident Care Coordinator.
• Communicate politely and professionally with residents and their families.
• Maintain required resident care documentation according to state regulations and company policies.
• Transport residents as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED, with potential additional requirements based on state regulations.
• Willingness to complete 80-hour personal care training provided by Navion.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred but not required.
• Ability to make decisions and act in residents' best interests.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
