Responsibilities
- Aid residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Bathe, dress, groom, toile, position, transfer, move, and manage incontinence care for residents
- Prepare and assist residents with meals and activities
- Respond to resident emergency calls
- Document and report changes in residents' condition to the Resident Care Coordinator
- Communicate effectively with residents and family members
- Maintain required resident care documentation according to state regulations and policies
- Transport residents as needed
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High School diploma or GED (may be required by state regulations)
- Willingness to complete 80-hour personal care training certificate provided by Navion
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork skills
- Dedication to serving seniors and providing excellent customer service
- Previous experience working with seniors is preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
