Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Affirmative action statement: Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
• Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Caregiver must possess a compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Basic knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
