Caregiver Med Tech (NOC)

About the Role

Merrill Gardens at Green Valley Ranch is seeking compassionate, caring, responsible, and honest Caregivers/Med Techs to support residents within our beautiful community. This role involves assisting seniors with activities of daily living, managing medications as allowed by the state, and completing daily progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state.
• Complete daily progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents (chart by exception).

Requirements

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years of previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care.
• Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement throughout the workday.
