Caregiver/Med Tech (Noc Shift)

About the role

Merrill Family of Senior Living Communities, a privately-owned family company with a proud history of success, is currently hiring a Caregiver at Merrill Gardens at Santa Maria in Santa Maria, CA.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state.
• Complete daily progress reports of services provided.

Requirements

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain CNA license or one year previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care.
• Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.

Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.
