NOC Shift Caregiver/Med Passer

About the role

ABridge Care Concepts, LLC has an immediate opening for a NOC Shift Caregiver. This role involves working in a warm and friendly environment where residents feel independent and have access to assistance when needed. You will be part of a caring and dedicated staff that encourages continued independence with customized care plans, gain valuable experience in providing physical, occupational, and speech therapy on-site, and make a difference in the lives of individuals living with dementia at our ABridge Care Cottages, designed to meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Providing personalized care and assistance to residents
• Assisting with transportation arrangements and making appointments
• Engaging residents in health promotional activities such as exercise groups and walking clubs
• Administering prescribed medications and managing medication schedules
• Communicating with physicians and other healthcare personnel
• Implementing memory care and dementia-related behavioral interventions
• Participating in functional maintenance programs as developed by therapists
• Assisting with ambulation and mobility programs
• Monitoring and addressing personal needs, such as bathing, dressing, and hygiene

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Prior experience in caregiving or a related field
• Availability to work night shifts and weekends

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Weekend availability
