About the role
Haven Home Care is hiring caregivers across 14 cities in Summit County. This is a calling for those who genuinely care about the elderly community. The work involves helping older adults with daily life activities such as baths, dressing, meal preparation, and light cleaning.
What Your Day Looks Like
- You drive to someone’s home.
- You help them with daily life activities.
- You assist with moving around and keeping them company.
- You do not give medicine or handle medical tasks.
Before You Apply
This work is demanding and requires empathy and reliability. We see people quit after one shift or even after 1-2 weeks due to travel distances or the nature of the work. For the right person, this can be deeply rewarding.
What You'll Earn
- $18/hour — STNA license (active or expired)
- $16-18/hour — HHA certificate or experience, based on interview
- $16/hour — free training pathway
- $19-20/hour — when you refer and care for a private pay client

How to Apply
- STNA (fastest): Apply with your STNA license number. Timeline: 1-3 days if you move fast.
- HHA certificate: Apply and send your certificate. Timeline: 5-8 days to working.
- Experience under a licensed nurse: Apply and provide your former employer's details. Timeline: 5-8 days after we verify your experience.
- Free training: Apply and complete free 32-hour online HHA training. Timeline: 1-2 weeks to working.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own a car with insurance covering work driving.
- Available between 6AM-8PM (most work is 8AM-5PM).
- Must have legal right to work in the US.
