Haven Home Care is hiring caregivers across 14 cities in Summit County. This is a calling for those who genuinely care about the elderly community.
What Your Day Looks Like
- You drive to someone’s home.
- You help with daily life activities such as baths, dressing, making meals, light cleaning, and running errands.
- You keep the client company.
- Most clients are older adults needing assistance to stay independent.
- This is physically demanding work requiring mobility and being on your feet throughout the day.
- You do not administer medications or handle medical tasks.

What You'll Earn
- $18/hour for STNA license (active or expired).
- $16-18/hour for HHA certificate or experience, based on interview.
- $16/hour for free training pathway.
- $19-20/hour for caring for a private pay client.

How to Apply
- STNA (fastest): Apply with your STNA license number. Timeline: 1-3 days if you move fast.
- HHA certificate: Apply and send your certificate. Timeline: 5-8 days to working.
- Experience under a licensed nurse: Apply and provide details. Timeline: 5-8 days after verification.
- Newcaregiver: Apply and complete free 32-hour online HHA training. Timeline: 1-2 weeks to working.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Driver’s license and own car with insurance covering work driving.
- Available between 6AM-8PM (most work is 8AM-5PM).
- Legal right to work in the US.
- Pass background checks.
- Must be willing to work at least 20 hours/week.
Compensation
- $16/hour for new caregivers.
- $18/hour for STNA license (active or expired).
- $16-18/hour for HHA certificate or experience, based on interview.
- $19-20/hour for caring for a private pay client.
- Raises based on performance: 90-day review, 1-year review, and 2-year review.
- Extra money for perfect attendance, referrals, and private pay clients.
