Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and execute functional test cases and record results.
• Record types of tests including functional, system, performance, integration, user acceptance, and regression testing.
• Collaborate across all levels of the Software Development team both internally and with third parties.
• Understand requirements and design test procedures and test cases for automated software testing.
• Inform the test lead about resources needed for software testing.
• Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
• Conduct testing, analyze results, and submit observations to the development team.
• Interact with clients to understand product requirements or make necessary design modifications.
• Create and participate in test-product documentation.
• Carry out testing according to defined procedures.
• Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures.
• Prepare reports related to software testing conducted.
• Achieve compliance with defined standards and procedures for all tested work.
• Execute test cases and report defects, defining severity and priority for each defect.
• Perform regression testing after changes to the code to fix defects.
• Design testing scenarios for usability testing.
