About the role
Pride Therapy is an LGBTQ+ affirming therapy practice offering mental health services to individuals, couples, children, and families. Our guiding principles are respect, integrity, and communication, supported through transparent decision-making, community visibility, and affirming all identities.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient individual, couple, family, and group therapy to clients of Pride Therapy in Long Beach, CA.
- Treatment includes adults and minors.
- Perform on-site and telehealth clinical counseling services as scheduled and in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work.
- Maintain proper licensure and adhere to all relevant laws, rules, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Communicate with clients, treatment teams, and manage client files accurately and up-to-date.
- Charge and collect payments for services provided.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
- Conduct therapy services professionally to maintain and enhance Pride Therapy's goodwill and reputation.
- Show respect and cooperation with co-workers.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or social work.
- Active LMFT/LCSW license in the State of California.
- Available to hold at least 27 client sessions per week.
- Prior experience in a private practice setting.
- Prior experience working with LGBTQ+ populations.
- At least one niche market for counseling services.
- Prior group facilitation experience.
- Prior experience with clinical documentation.
Benefits
Compensation is an hourly rate of $85.00 as a W2 employee.
