Job Summary
NH operates multiple education and employment programs that serve several hundred individuals and families annually. These programs provide multilingual, multicultural case management, and comprehensive employment search, placement, training, retention and career advancement support for job seekers throughout King County. This position works with job seekers of all backgrounds to assist them in securing meaningful employment, job training and career advancement opportunities.
About the Role
This position plays a crucial role in supporting job seekers through various stages of their employment journey, including job search, training, and career advancement. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping others achieve their career goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist job seekers in identifying and applying for job openings that align with their skills and interests
- Provide guidance on resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies
- Facilitate job training and development opportunities tailored to individual needs
- Support job seekers in exploring career pathways and identifying potential employers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of job seeker progress and achievements
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss job seeker progress and develop strategies for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, or related field
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in employment services or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Knowledge of local employment resources and job market trends
- Understanding of labor laws and regulations

Pay
The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position is full-time, non-exempt, and works 40 hours per week, 12 months per year.
