Career Accelerator Program
About the Program
The Career Accelerator Program (CAP) is designed for high school juniors to bridge the gap between education and the professional world by providing invaluable mentorship and exposure to various career opportunities within our community. This elite program consists of two parts: the Career Accelerator classes and the pre-internship. The 2025/2026 cohort will include 100 students.
Applications will open on November 17, 2025.

Schedule
CAP Classes take place at Athens High School in the TACC from 3:30 - 5 p.m.
- CAP Class #1 - January 29
- CAP Class #2 - February 12
- CAP Class #3 - February 26
- MATCH DAY - March 12 - Troy High School - Media Center
Pre-Internship takes place at a host business (20-25 hours) and is completed between March and June 2026.
Business Partnerships
Internships are a critical part of our education program. By setting up professional internships, students gain the opportunity to work with industry professionals and apply classroom theory in real-world settings.
