About the role
Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Care Team Manager to lead one of our residential homes supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves providing leadership to your team, ensuring quality care, and fostering a positive, person-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and state regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the daily operations of the assigned group home, including financial, operational, and quality goals.
- Recruit, train, coach, and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
- Maintain staffing schedules and support employee development and accountability.
- Ensure the home remains safe, clean, and well-maintained by coordinating repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to support the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals served.
- Promote person-centered care while encouraging independence and community involvement.
- Maintain communication with guardians, medical providers, regulatory agencies, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Attend individual meetings, appointments, and community activities as needed.
- Monitor documentation, medication administration, and program compliance.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- An associate's degree or college coursework in Business, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- 2–3 years of leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred.
- 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- The ability to pass all required background checks and work within Beacon Specialized Living programs.
- The ability to maintain required certifications, trainings, and TB screenings (where applicable).
