Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of day-to-day care operations, including staffing, scheduling, and time management.
- Leading and developing a multidisciplinary care team.
- Collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary partners to implement person-centered plans ensuring quality, compliance, and coordinated resident care.
Training and Development
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve staff training programs and in-services.
- Coach team members and evaluate new hire competency.
- Participate in onboarding and orientation for new hires and represent the team at internal and external meetings and conferences.
Employee Relations and Daily Operations
- Handling the full employee lifecycle from interviewing and hiring through supervision, coaching, and guiding staff development.
- Fostering a positive team culture.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensuring compliance with Ohio Department of Health and DODD standards.
- Overseeing quality assurance, infection control, staffing, recruitment, training, clinical care coordination, and admissions/discharges.
- Upholding resident privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA.
Licenses/Credentials/Certifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) graduate from an accredited school of nursing and licensed with the Ohio Board of Nursing.
