Care Team Leader (Nights)
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join our team in Croftbank for 33 hours per week working nights. Our care team is at the forefront of resident engagement, quality care, and lifestyle opportunities—ensuring that physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing is supported for all residents.
The role of Care Team Lead is to promote and encourage the wider care team to create daily meaningful interactions so residents live with purpose and connection. You will take a primary role in creating and updating resident Care Plans, ensuring they are personalised with what’s meaningful to the individual. You will also promote the values of our Inclusion Charter, ensuring residents are at the core of their care, and uphold care standards while leading by example when supervising the wider care team.
Responsibilities
- Promote compassionate care within a friendly and supportive environment
- Help induct new care staff
- Supervise the care team
- Conduct training for team members
- Support new and junior members of the team to deliver quality personalised care
Requirements
- Minimum of an SVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care
- Medication administration training preferred
- At least one year’s experience working in a care setting in a similar role
- Awareness of, and adherence to, the SSSC Codes of Practice
- Preferably registered with the SSSC
