Care Team Assistant - Radiology, MRI - Part-Time - Hillcrest

About the role

Scripps Mercy Hospital is a part-time position located at the Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. This position works 48 hours per pay period on an 8-hour DAY shift.

Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with other care team members to assure safe and optimal patient care.
• Support the unit with a variety of clerical, patient logistic, equipment/supply, charge reconciliation, and patient service duties.
• Assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
• Assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collect data, and maintain a safe, organized environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Multiple patient care skills preferred.
• One year experience in health care related field, sterile processing, patient transport or equivalent responsibilities preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic life support certification (AHA BLS).

Pay

Position Pay Range: $25.00-$29.29/hour
