MRI Assistant Part Time

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated computer literacy.
• Perform clerical duties, including answering phones and accurately collecting and documenting information within established guidelines.
• Assist with transferring patients to MRI tables or wheelchairs.
• Work collaboratively with a teamwork attitude to provide quality patient and family-centered care in a safe, efficient, effective, and timely manner.
• Clean and stock supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete MRI Level Two safety training within two weeks of being hired.
• Exceptional customer service and patient care skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adhere to professional codes of conduct and ethics.
• Ability to interview and screen patients of all age groups for MRI safety issues.
• Knowledge of hazards involved in MRI work and necessary precautions.
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.
• Ability to handle stressful demands, including patient flow, emergencies, stat requests, and multiple interruptions.
• Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Valid CPR certification.

Schedule

Monday - Friday; Saturday: 8am to 5pm
