MRI Tech Assistant - Part Time

About the role

University Radiology, a leading provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in New Jersey, is seeking a per diem MRI Tech Assistant to join their team in Warren and Bridgewater, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Assist mostly MRI Techs and with patient flow
• Communicate with patients and prepare them for the exam
• Patient film and report coordination
• Stock supplies
• May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must adhere to all department and facility safety protocols

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Medical office experience a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of medical terminology a plus, but not required
• Enrollment in a formal radiologic tech program is a real plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as an MRI Tech Assistant preferred

Pay

Schedule

• Monday & Wednesday 400pm - 800pm
• Every other Saturday 745am - 400pm in Warren
• Every other Saturday 730am-100pm in Bridgewater

Skills
