Care Team Assistant - Radiology, CT - La Jolla
About the role
This is a Full-Time position (64 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour VARIED shift located at our Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. You will enjoy comprehensive benefits that cover health & wellness, career development, and retirement options among other benefits.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team.
- Aid patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collect data, and ensure the patient has a safe, organized environment.
- Assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
- Support the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties.
Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider
Qualifications – External

- PREFERRED: Multiple patient care skills preferred. Prefer one year experience in health care related field, sterile processing, patient transport or equivalent responsibilities.
