The role of Care Supervisor is a critical role at Fuze Rx. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the compliant, efficient, safe, and scalable operations for the Patient Care Team. A chief objective will be to assist in establishing operational excellence, particularly as it pertains to patient experience, employee morale, industry standards, compliance, and performance metrics. You will use your in-depth knowledge of Pharmacy regulations, clinical judgment, and patient safety practices to meet and exceed service level agreements.

As Care Supervisor, you will also work cross-functionally to develop new processes and programs that are key to Alto’s success, and establish a culture of continuous improvement. You will supervise and develop a team of Alto technicians and be responsible for employee engagement, training and communicating and adhering to performance standards. By reviewing, scoring, and providing feedback, you’ll help improve the quality of care team interactions, in addition to proactively surfacing insights to drive continuous improvement across our operation.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate Your Career as You Own technician workflow and operations.
  • Ensure the critical metrics for efficiency, service levels, and quality for prescription processing are met.
  • Coach and develop technicians to optimize quality and patient experience.
  • Create training materials and lead training sessions for successful technician onboarding.
  • Support the entire care team through a Supervisor-on-Duty rotation, including nights and weekends.
  • Assist in implementing and enforcing new workflows for partnerships, product launches, and regulatory/accreditation requirements.
  • Triage and resolve day-to-day escalations.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, workflows, hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary action.
  • Partner with the Quality Team to ensure patient safety and clinical excellence.
  • Oversee deployment, training, and standardization of company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in establishing a continuous improvement culture.
  • Ensure that the pharmacy is compliant with:
    • Local, state, and federal rules and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy
    • Third party payor contract rules and regulations
    • Policies and procedures as set forth by Fuze Rx
  • Assist in ensuring the pharmacy remains in good standing with all applicable regulatory bodies including the State Board of Pharmacies.

Requirements

  • An active pharmacy technician license in good standing with Colorado or Texas State board of pharmacy, free of any disciplinary actions
  • 1-3 years prior experience managing teams of pharmacy technicians and clerks in a retail, mail order setting or hub setting or equivalent experience as a systems, people and process trainer in a similar environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement, defect identification, and solution implementation.
  • Ability to define and manage performance and success against business, people, and patient satisfaction KPIs.
  • Demonstrated success in providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Management experience in a retail, mail order setting or hub setting
  • Experience in claims adjudication processes, such as switch vendors, insurance PBMs, and CoverMyMeds.

Physical requirements for this role include the ability to:

  • Work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods of time
  • Stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies
  • Make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands, and fingers
  • Lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds
  • Effectively communicate through verbal interactions
  • Discern auditory information
  • Visually perceive details to perform essential job functions

Pay

Salary Range: $64,000-$96,000
