Care Provider Assistant

About the role

The Wealshire is the premier dementia/Alzheimer's specific care facility in the Twin Cities. The Wealshire is looking to employ qualified and dedicated care providers in Medina.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality care to residents with dementia and Alzheimer's. - Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating. - Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents. - Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare providers. - Participate in training and education programs to enhance caregiving skills.

Requirements

- No prior experience required; training provided. - Willingness to learn and follow established care protocols. - Ability to work flexible hours including 5:45 AM–2:00 PM, 1:45 PM–10:00 PM, and 9:45 PM–6:00 AM. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with residents and their families.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent. - Valid Minnesota driver’s license and reliable transportation. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay

Starting pay: $22 per hour.

Schedule

Hours: 5:45 AM–2:00 PM, 1:45 PM–10:00 PM, and 9:45 PM–6:00 AM.
