Care Partner (CNA) - Emergency Room - Full Time 12 Hour Night Shift (Union)

About the role

The Care Partner supports nursing staff in delivering patient care, performing clerical tasks, organizing the unit environment, and managing equipment setup and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care delivery
• Performs clerical functions
• Organizes the unit environment
• Maintains equipment setup and maintenance

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Current CNA certification, enrollment in nursing program, or completion of relevant courses.
• Experience: Six months to one year as a CNA in an acute care setting (as defined by the unit).
• Licenses/Certifications: Active CNA certification, current Basic Life Support (BLS), and AB508 (Management of Assaultive Behavior).

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a heavy workload.
• Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations.

Skills

• Prioritization of assignments.
• Basic computer skills for electronic health record data entry.

Pay

Hourly rate range: $23.00 - $30.87.
